Tender 7 is a 2005 HME chassis with a 430 horsepower Caterpillar engine and a 3500 gallon U.S. Tanker water tank. Three 10" dumps on the back of the tank allow gravity dumping to either side or the back. Two 2.5" outlets are powered by a 20 horsepower, 380 gallon per minute pump if direct pumping is desired. There is a five gallon bucket of foam and a pre-connected eductor for foaming capabilities with the turn of a valve. There is room for a driver and three firefighters, but Tender 7 has a main duty of getting water to a rural fire scene.
