Brush 8 is a 2004 Ford F-350 XL Super Duty pickup truck with an extended cab. The bed has a 300 gallon water tank, a 10 gallon foam tank and eductor, and a high pressure pump. There is a heightened rail around the bed so firefighters can safely stand in the bed during wild fire suppression. There are two flood lights mounted on the back and a winch that can be placed at either the front or rear end of the truck. The extended cab has different types of traffic control signs for any incident that may affect regular traffic flow. Brush 8 is primarily used for fire suppression in areas that are not accessible by other trucks.
